Interesting fact about Balmorhea, They have been a band since 2006, they have toured the US several times, their latest release Stranger is their 10th release, and they have had several videos made for them over the years, but what is interesting is that they have never appeared in any of these videos.... until now.

We had some meetings with Rob and Michael in the band and discussed a film concept for the track "Jubi" off of their new album Stranger. Jubi gave us a feeling of going on journey / adventure and so we set off and created the film you see below which we shot on Super 8 film as well as the Lomokino 35 mm Film camera made by Lomography. We went to several locations and even used a small helicopter and mounted a camera to it for the aerial shots you see. The film features not only the band but also a really special young lad named Truman who goes on the adventure and eventually runs into the band. We hope you enjoy it!

You can also get their new album Stranger at your local record shops and if you don't have a local record shop or don't know what a record shop is you can download it here: http://bit.ly/X2jVJh

Check out the gear we used and if you have questions about shots you can direct them to questions@transistorsix.com . We will feature some of them on our Facebook pages with answers. Please be specific about the photo in question and we will try to get back to you.
