A while back we had the great fortune of doing a Transistor Six feature with Ringo Deathstarr. It's been a while coming but worth the wait. We did this session during a double secret show that also included The Duke Spirit. It was a bit of a mad house and when we got to shooting some Ringo Deathstarr photos we missed getting Daniel the drummer who had to cut out early. So below are a few shots of Alex and Elliott.
The band have been out supporting their latest release Mauve and just recently got back from Japan being on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins. We shot a Super 8 film for "Two Girls" from their album Colour Trip that you can check out below. There's also some great live tracks we recorded as well like, "Chloe", "Slack", "Girls We Know" and "Nap Time".
You should also pick up their latest album Mauve at your corner record store, Just incase you don't have a local record store you can get yours here: http://bit.ly/12eg3K2

We managed to get some portrait shots of Alex and Elliott after the show using the Lomo Diana F+ with a ring flash and close-up lens. We also had a texture roll of some sparklers that we shot and used when photographing Alex and Elliott.
For these shots we used the LC-A+ camera.
If you have questions about shots you can direct them to questions@transistorsix.com. We will feature some of them on our Facebook pages with answers. Please be specific about the photo in question and we will try to get back to you.
